To say Outcast Of Society is a stellar album is perhaps a bit of an understatement. Ten tracks of absolute tunes, it’s an album that will get your head banging and your foot tapping. In fact, there isn’t a single bad song on this album and each song makes an impression in its own way.
The title track is a groovy little number with an opening so memorable that it’ll make you want to move about from the introduction alone and it’s a track I can already envision going down a storm in a live environment, along with later track Silence which is more of a heavier number with energetic drums and riffs a-plenty.
It’s not just about bringing the noise however, as Steal The Grail is more of a slow-burner; not as fast-faced as some of the other tracks with sparse instrumentation at first which contrasts incredibly well with the harsh vocals during the verses before the full band kicks in with chunky instrumentation, and some incredible half-squealed vocals in the middle before leading into a brain-melting guitar solo near the end of the song.
An exceedingly strong effort from Process:Pain and leads on nicely from their previous EPs. It’ll be great to see what happens next with this talented band.
