Silent Voices are set to release their brand new single Darkest Night on July 2 and we go an exclusive first listen of it! Trust us when you say you won’t want to miss this single, which also comes with a completely rerecorded version of one of their older songs, Glassheart.
Darkest Night is the latest offering from Silent Voices, and is also the first to feature their new drummer Hurtsi, as well as being their first release with singer Teemu as a permanent fixture of the band, and it could well be the five-piece’s strongest release to date.
Quite simply, this is a song that will worm its way into your head thanks to the absolutely incredible musicianship featuring on it. What’s especially good about this track is that you can really tell the vocal line has been written specifically with Teemu’s vocals in mind and everything just flows better as a result. Instrumentally everything just seems to work, right from the powerful drum line to the impressive guitar solos – it has everything you could want in a Silent Voices song and more. You won’t be forgetting this one in a hurry, trust me!
Silent Voices have taken things to the next level with this and subsequently, expectations will be very high for the new album. However, if Darkest Night is anything to go by, then we’re all going to be blown away.
