Day 12: The Addication – The Addication
I feel like I was lulled into a false sense of security with this album. Hit play and was treated to an absolutely massive riff. Was ready to start banging my head but then the vocals kicked in and sort of killed all my motivation, which was disappointing. I felt like I was going to really love this album but the vocals feel like they don’t fit and I just can’t seem to look past them.
I’m beginning to wonder whether Inverse put all the really strong albums at the start of the advent calendar to get me stoked, before digging out a load of old bargain basement CDs to buff the rest of the advent calendar out with. 😂
