Celeb Car Crash are currently gearing up to release their new album People Are The Best Show! Ahead of its release, we caught up with them to find out more.

In about a month’s time, you’re going to be releasing your new album People Are The Best Show. What can fans expect from it?
We’re pretty excited, well we hope that fans will listen to a good rock and roll album with powerful songs, ballads, heterogenic moods, our thoughts and stories and our love for music.

Can you describe the writing and recording process for it?
We started with some riffs and some lyrics, then we put together the songs and we recorded all the stuff before the tour with Lacuna Coil and the Red Bull EP Mucha Lucha. All was easy and natural, we wanted to make a nineties concept album with modern sounds and arrangements, tryin’ to be as original as possible. Above all, we wanted to write something that people can remember and keep in their hearts.

Which song on it are you most proud of?
Ouch! It’s a hard decision, we love them all! Maybe Because I’m Sad is the song that received more exposure, cause it was the Red Bull single, and it’s also included in People Are The Best Show. Surely “Outdone” is the most amusing song to play live.

Were there any tracks that were more of a challenge to complete?
Maybe Nearly in Bloom. It’s the closing album ballad, we put in some synths, Piano, Hammond, weird guitars, Dobro guitars and we had to play a crescendo for 5 minutes.

Moving onto live shows, what can be expected from a Celeb Car Crash show?
Four guys that love what they do. Rock N Roll, sweat, lyrics to sing along, music you can headbang with and broken bones.

What’s been the best show you’ve ever played?
We can mention all the the tour with Lacuna Coil or the gig with Coheed and Cambria, but the gig that made us realize that we were a real band was at Zoe Club in Milan…huge crowd, huge performance, people went crazy and it was our third concert.

What about the strangest or weirdest?
It was New Year’s Eve, on a Big Italian Radio Truck, in a big square with 8 degrees below zero, we were freezing our ass!

If you could play a show with any band in the world, who would you choose?
Miky – Metallica
Simone – Faith No More
Carlo Alberto – Foo Fighters
Nicola – Soundgarden
