Exclusive: Sharone And The Wind – Demons

Denver rock band Sharone And The Wind will be releasing their brand new single Demons tomorrow and ahead of its official release, we’ve got an exclusive first listen for you! Demons is taken from the band’s second full-length album, entitled Enchiridion of Nightmares, which will be released on April 13th.

Channeling chaos into art, Sharone emerged as a solo artist in the Denver music scene in 2014. The atmospheric and melodramatic music of Evanescence and the psychedelic blues of Black Sabbath inspired Sharone to start performing live, and to eventually transition her music into a full rock band, Sharone & The Wind.

Writing this album was therapeutic to say the least. Before I began writing, I had just gone through one of the most difficult changes of my life and I felt more alone than ever. I felt angry, scared, and hurt, and I took everything I could from the experience as a lesson that allowed me to grow as a person as well as a songwriter.

– Sharone, lead singer/songwriter

The lyrical content of the album explores a full spectrum of negative feelings and has a strong influence from the world of horror cinema and goth rock, yet retains a certain macabre accessibility with a cabaret twist.
