As ever Flood of Red play London and they don’t take to the stage ‘til super late cause there’s like a million bands on this bill.
Flood of Red take to the stage upstairs at 10pm and it quickly rockets from amazing to incredible. They’ve pulled some new tricks out the bag believe it or not. If you’ve already seen then you’ll understand how this could be thought of as impossible. More new tricks? But believe me they’re there in the form of Dale Gallagher playing some drums.
They crank out the tunes and include a new song. It looks like the new stuff with push the boundaries even more than the old stuff if that’s even possible! They finish the night ever with a crazed frenzy of drums and have some of the other bands join them on stage. Their shows never get dull and this is a band who I still want to be bigger than they are. If you haven’t had the pleasure of hearing them yet, then check out their debut album “Leaving Everything Behind”. It’s a corker.
