From Sorrow To Serenity’s Playlist

from sorrow to serenity

From Sorrow To Serenity are gearing up to release their new EP entitled Remnant Of Humanity on April 22. We caught up with them to find out about their musical tastes and influences.

A song that influenced them
I think a song that really influenced us as a collective would have to be Follow The Water by Architects. Individually, we draw inspiration and influence from dozens of artists from differing genres; but a song I distinctly remember all of us loving is Follow The Water. It probably had a hand in our musical direction as a group!

A song they wish they could have written
t.A.T.u – All The Things She Said. 100%.

Their favourite From Sorrow To Serenity song
I think our favourite From Sorrow to Serenity song is probably Illusive, or The Way Back. We still have a lot of fun performing oldies like Antithesis and i9, but with the album material now in the set we’re having a lot of fun playing these new tracks!

A song they’ve been listening to a lot recently
We’ve been jamming a lot of The 1975 in the van recently, mainly due to our new singer Gary having a mad obsession with them, but you can’t beat a lil’ bit of groove!

Their all time favourite song
I’d like to say Gary McF – Ah Ahh Ahhh, but I don’t think the guys would agree. So I’m gonna roll with a song that we recently developed an insatiable desire to sing, Crawling by Linkin Park.
