The band formed in 2010, but with this line up since November 2013
How did the band form?
James and Mikey met up whilst in university, started writing together with other musicians before Alex and Julian joined to form what is now Giving in to Ghosts.
Who are your biggest influences?
Thrice, Funeral for a Friend, A Day to Remember. To name but three of a never-ending list.
What’s the biggest show you’ve ever played?
We’ve had the pleasure of supporting some big shows, but the biggest is probably going to be supporting Hawthorne Heights at Static Bar, Swansea on the 18th April. It’s the anniversary for their “The Silence in Back and White” album.. Huge show and we cannot wait!
How would you describe your live show to someone who hasn’t seen you yet?
Our live show shows the true colours of who we really are. We are really starting to open up and express ourselves more as shows go on. What people can expect is the unexpected. Half the time we wing it, but people tend to dig it.
