We are big fans of Welsh, female fronted, pop punk band Hark! A Shark! here at Soundscape, so it is awesome to have a new EP from the guys.
What you’ll find here is 4 tracks of great sounding and catchy pop punk, with big choruses and melodies that’ll stick in your head for days.
First track ‘My God, It’s Huge’ has a huge (sorry!) chorus full of woah-oh’s and some ace riffing from Greg B and Jon. ‘Open Wide, Say Aaah’ contains some full-on frantic drumming courtesy of Andy and another trademark catchy, memorable chorus.
Title track ‘908 Means Get Me Outta There!’ is the star of the show here, a really great song. Singer Natalie has such has a good voice and really shines on this track, keep your eyes peeled for an awesome video to accompany this song coming soon.
Last track ‘What Lies Beneath’ contains another sterling performance by Natalie and Greg T’s baselines really drive this track along.
The EP sounds great, recorded and mixed by Phil Smith at One Louder studios and completely self released and is available from iTunes, Amazon and also on spotify or you can pick up a hard copy from one the bands numerous gigs. They are such a great, hard working band and are definitely worthy of your support.
