Bonjour Tristesse is the new single from Killers Walk Among us and is a great release, although marred with sadness as it is taken from the band’s debut (and final) album, which is set to be released on August 26 following the death of lead vocalist and songwriter Stefan Holmberg earlier this year.
Bonjour Tristesse is light and airy; a nice little summery track, and whilst it isn’t a track that will immediately get stuck in your head following your first listen, it really grows on you the more you listen to it. On the surface, it’s a fairly simplistic track, but after you delve a little deeper you can uncover beautiful and intricate little guitar sections nestled within the main body of the song.
As a whole, it can certainly be said that the song is a grower and you’ll definitely want to revisit it a few times. Now why not check it out below?
