Brighton based pop/rock superstars Mimi Soya have just released a new video to go with the track ‘Millionaire’ from the bands latest EP ‘I Cant Stand Pop Bands’.
So in honour of this we caught up with guitarist Chris and asked him a bunch of random questions and tried to get him to spill the beans on his band mates!
You can check the video out right here.
Strangest gig you’ve ever played?
Once in Brighton we played a Pirate Lesbian wedding reception upstairs in a pub!
If you could choose one super power what would it be?
Super duper flaming fingers!
If you won the lottery what’s the first thing you would do?
Pay off my parents mortgage.
What do you want on your gravestone?
“Told you I was ill!”
Ever been attacked by an animal?
Clawed in the eye by a cat once.
Favourite Batman actor?
The Bale!
Hottest woman or man ever?
Oh god, either Eva Longoria or Odette Yustman (Unborn, Cloverfield).
Most embarrassing thing to happen to you while in the band?
Pulling the lead out of the amp whilst playing, falling off the stage.
What’s the best and worst part about being in a band?
Best would be meeting fans! Worst would be the amount of money I’ve plowed into it!
What would you rather be, Ninja or Vampire?
Ninja fo’sho!
What’s the last album you bought?
The Exorcism of Emily Rose / Drag me to Hell OST’s
Most embarrassing clothing item owned by you or a band mate?
Joe once had a pair of Y – fronts that had “Sinister Days” written on them, also a bright yellow belt with the words “Cool cats” written all over it.
Tell us an embarrassing story about a band mate or grass them up for doing something?
Jorja once drank too much in Amsterdam and ended up sobbing into a toilet telling us how much she loves us! Pretty innocent I guess!
