Until Then…Until The End is the brand new 7″ single from Noctum and is the first release of theirs to feature their new guitarist. A catchy and engaging offering, this is something that is memorable for all the right reasons.
Side A features the title track Until Then…Until The End and it’s an infectiously catchy number. Although the introduction doesn’t quite manage to grab your attention as the track begins, it picks up when the main guitar riff kicks in, followed by the vocals for good measure, and the song swiftly becomes more of a substantial listen. Your foot will be tapping along to it in no time and the vocal line is one that will soon worm its way into your head after you’ve given the song a few spins.
In Precious Time is the b-side but it packs just as much punch as the single itself. There’s a lot of momentum and energy to the track, with the instrumentation giving everything a real kick – and indeed, the guitar solo in the latter half of the song is something to behold. It also sounds like a song that has been tailor-made for a live environment, with plenty of opportunities for the crowd to sing lines back and clap along to.
This is a great slice of music from Noctum and if this is anything to go by, it surely bodes well for their next full-length release.
