chuggaboom

Here in the UK it’s a dreary and miserable-looking Monday morning but fret ye not – we’ve got five tracks that will hopefully perk you up and get your week off to a good start. Listen below!

ChuggaBoom – #TBT That Time When I Made Out With Your Sister
We’re really enjoying the self-professed “best metalcore band in the world” here at Soundscape and the band have recently released a lyric video for their track #TBT That Time When I Made Out With Your Sister, which is a pretty good insight into what you can expect from their upcoming album Zodiac Arrest. Whilst you wait for the album, you can also check out the interview we did with John Virgo, where we posed ten random questions to him, here.

Chon – Splash
Chon are currently gearing up to release their excellent new album Grow (our review of which can be read here) and if you want to know what the fuss is about, then make sure you give their track Splash a listen because it’s an absolute cracker! If you like what you hear, then you can preorder Grow from here.

Moonspell – Domina
A few months ago, Moonspell released their incredible album Extinct to rave reviews and if you still haven’t got your hands on it yet, you really need to rectify this! Domina is the band’s latest offering from the release and it’s an incredible dark and melodic piece that you won’t be forgetting in a hurry.

Funeral For A Friend – All Hands On Deck Part 1: Raise The Sail
Last week, it was announced that Funeral For A Friend were calling time on their long and illustrious career, but not before one last tour that will see them playing their first two albums – Casually Dressed And Deep In Conversation and Hours on consecutive nights. However for me personally, it’s their third album, Tales Don’t Tell Themselves, that is their strongest so this is the perfect excuse to share one of the greatest FFAF tracks of all time!

Ajattara – Alttarilla aamutähden
Finnish black/dark metal outfit Ajattara have long since split up, but nevertheless I have still been enjoying their music over the past week. Just check this track out – that guitar line WILL get stuck in your head before you know it! It’s just one of those tracks that you can listen to over and over without getting bored of it.
