River Becomes Ocean’s Up & Coming UK Bands Playlist

river becomes ocean

There’s some great bands emerging from the UK right now and we recently caught up with the guys in River Becomes Ocean to ask them to rec five great up and coming bands. Check them all out and get involved below!

Steven Battelle – The Jump
The LostAlone singer is back with his solo-project after LostAlone called it a day. This tune is a perfect production, putting together so many different styles and is a brilliant symbiosis and an amazing comeback! We didn’t really expect anything less from the master songwriter that we think Steven is.

Veridian – One Day
We are yet to play a show with our Reading friends, Veridian, but if and when we do, it’s going to be a great night! Just listen to their sound: They are different to us, yet so similar. We are seriously stoked about what those six guys have created!

TheCityIsOurs – Wildfire
Our boys in TheCityIsOurs just released this new single for their upcoming EP and it’s a blast. We have shared the stage with them before and we can’t wait to do it again! Open that pit up!

All Ears Avow – Reach
Those guys have been our friends from the very start. We played our second show with them and kept in touch ever since. Apart from every single one of them being the most genuine people we know, they are all top-class musicians! They recently released their song Reach so give those guys a listen, and make sure you check ‘em out live if they play a town near you!

Heath – The Outline Of You
If you would rather chill for a little bit, Brighton based Ambient Pop formation Heath are a safe bet. Those guys have just finished a little EU run, and we are sure it won’t be their last – Go check them out!

River Becomes Ocean’s new EP December is out next week.
Buy from here, and check them out at their two special release shows:

June 21st – Brighton – Sticky Mikes Frog Bar
June 22nd – London – The Garage
