Soundscape’s Inverse Advent 11: ID: Exorcist – Paths To Exile

It’s been a long few days of albums that haven’t quite done it for me, but thankfully ID: Exorcist have delivered with this one.

Day 11: ID:Exorcist – Paths To Exile
As someone currently going through an extremely large metalcore kick, I was very excited to see that this band was metalcore when I checked them out on the Metal Archives site. And you know what? This ain’t half bad. I definitely appreciate the melodies in this – those riffs in Double Cross are magnificent, and I really love how massive Dynamics Of Pretending sounds as a whole.

An album seemingly made to be blasted loud, I really enjoyed this one. There’s a good, meaty sound to the band and the tracks all seem to pack a massive punch. I think I’ll definitely rip this and put it on rotation in my car.

Track recommendation: Dynamics Of Pretending
