Interview With Turbowolf

TurboWolf

Ahead of their run of headline shows on the Download Freezes Over tour, we caught up with Turbowolf for a quick chat.

Can you introduce yourself and tell me a bit about the band?
My name is Chris and the band is in a very special place where we go to create music and art that people can enjoy/loathe in a variety of ways.

Is there any city or venue you’re most excited about playing?
We have a good time wherever we go…if the people are up for a good time then that’s even better. No particular places…everywhere is going to be goooooood.

What can fans expect from the upcoming shows?
Noisy fun. And a golden house.

What do you like most about touring?
Meeting some new people, playing live, soaking up the excellent vibes…that sort of thing.

Is there anything you don’t like about touring?
I don’t care much for the spookiness.

Have you got any interesting stories from tours gone by?
We could write a book. It would be called “When good stuff happens it’s either an in-joke or too racy to tell”. Bit of a long title but you know what you’re getting.

If you could tour with any band, who would you choose?
Death From Above 1979.

And finally what does 2015 have in store for Turbowolf?
New music, playing lots of shows and having fun with nice people.
